San Sebastian is located between Madrid and Paris, in the Atlantic coast at 20 km. from the French border. It's a very well  communicated city: By train: 6 hours away from Paris in TGV, 6 hours away from Madrid in Talgo. In coach: 5 hours away from Madrid, 6 from Barcelona, 1 hour from Bilbao. Regular buses from the main European cities. Airports:  The airport of Bilbao (www.aena.es) maintains regular flights low cost flights with London, Frankfurt, Paris, Brussels, Milan, Geneva etc. At the small airport of San Sebastián (www.aena.es) 5 daily flights arrive from Madrid and 4 from Barcelona. The French airport of Biarritz (www.biarritz.aeroport.fr) for flights to Paris, London-Stanstead. When you book, we can give you advice as to some of the best ways to come from your country.

Will I be meet at the airport?
Our school can organize transfers from most airports etc, so you don’t need to worry about how to get to San Sebastian. A school transfer will often save the student's money (late arrivals, early departures), in addition to the comfort it always brings. There is charges for airport pick ups.

Can I bring my board?
If you have one - of course! Its always better to have your own plank between your toes!

I've never surfed before, and have no equipment ..
No problem. We have good instructors that will teach you on easy waves. You will be up and surfing in no time! We supply all equipment including surf board, wetsuit etc.

What if I am a beginner at Spanish... advanced ...?
Again no problem! We have 8 levels of Spanish from beginner to advanced. We will find the best level for you.

What’s the best time of year to go?
For beginner and intermediate surfing ... beyond doubt its June to September. This is the time the water is warmest., the beach atmosphere is great, and San Sebastian is humming. for the hard core surfer - bigger waves can happen late October to Late March. If you want a quieter time, to learn Spanish, then we suggest February to May, or October to December.

What else is there to do?
San Sebastian is great. There is always lots to do. There is kite surfing,  lots of pubs and nightlife. c
anoeing, sailing, tennis, hang-gliding and rock climbing. The school organizes sport activities such as football and volleyball games, horse-rides, bike rides, excursions to the mountains.
