Mexico Spanish & Surf
Mexico is a great place to study Spanish and surf due to its rich culture and history as well as great waves!   We have two locations in Mexico:  One is Puerto Escondido, known for the famous Mexican Pipeline and the other is at Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo where there are excellent beginner/intermediate breaks.  Both places are full immersion with plenty of cultural activities where you can apply the Spanish you learn.  Our third location isn’t one exact location…it is a 43 foot Rhodes sailing yacht where you live aboard and said to the best surf breaks that are often only accessible by boat.  All this while you learn Spanish!  Our schools are small and friendly making learning Spanish fun and easy.  Our staff are well qualified teachers who take pride in teaching their native language.  Great surfing combined with excellent Spanish language institutes!  What more could you ask for!  With two great locations to choose from, Mexico is a perfect destination to study Spanish and surf.

Puerto Escondido is best known for the Mexican Pipeline.  The surf here is famous, varying from small to medium November to April and big and powerful the rest of the year.   There are plenty of spots for beginners though!   Puerto is a seaside town with about 60,000 inhabitants.  It is a charming town where you will have plenty of locals to practice your Spanish with.  In addition to learning Spanish at an excellent school, you will have some of the best waves to surf.  This is surf and Spanish at it’s finest!

Ixtapa is a beautiful Mexican resort  town with beautiful beaches, cafes and nightlife.  Just a few miles away its sister city Zihuatanejo offers you the cultural side of Mexico with markets, history and lots of wonderful locals! As well as great surf, there is wind surfing, kitesurfing, sailing, horse riding, tennis, golf and scuba diving.   There is plenty to do here as you immerse yourself in the beautiful language of Spanish.
