Our school is well recognized. for example our Spanish course is recognized by the Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero Mexico. We can offer university credits through the Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero that will normally be accepted for study abroad d transfer to your University. Our Teaching methods: Our Spanish courses are a learning adventure! Learning Spanish is fun when your classroom is the beach, the jungle, Mexican restaurants, the local market, the museum or the gardens. You will also learn about the culture of Mexico, visit around and be guided by our expert native teachers. The lessons take place in real-life situations, which would give you the confidence to learn easily. Our learning Spanish methods are practical and efficient as you will also be able to perform all the tourist related activities such as ordering at the restaurant, checking-in at the hotel, shopping, using transportation services, etc. Since our method is easy, practical and fun, you would gain the self-confidence to communicate with strangers. This would encourage you to learn more as you would have the pleasure to understand and be understood by others. You can Spanish Classes from Monday to Friday - four hours per day, in the mornings or afternoons, to fit around your surfing or other program. Your Spanish lessons are based on activities that would enhance your learning of the language and Mexican culture. You will gain the knowledge, communicate well in Spanish and travel with confidence. The Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo area offers some of the best surf on Mexico’s Pacific Coast. We highly recommend it for beginner and intermediate surfers. It has regular, consistent surf with a huge variety of breaks from beginner to expert. Breaks like Escolleras, Playa Linda, La Saladita, the Ranch, Mahajua, Troncones, Playa Manzanillo, Juluchuca, La Barrita and Las Gatas, all within one-hours drive. Escolleras is right in the heart of Ixtapa, on the main beach - so no travelling is needed! The most popular break is Playa Linda. It is just a short 10 minutes bus ride (YES – the buses do take boards!) away and is the perfect idyllic beach break on a palm fringed beach, that is picture card perfect. And … Don't bother with a wetsuit, you won't need it here! Prices:Packages: 1 week Beginner Surf and Spanish $320, with home stay $490 includes: 4 hours/day Spanish lessons for 5 days, one intro land surf lesson and one intro water lesson (add $50 for board rental) Classes Only: 15 hours private per week $180, 20 hours private per week $240 20 hours small group classes per week $160 Surf board Rental: $10/day, $50/week or $150/month Homestays, including food and housing, cost approximately $150 U.S. a week, depending on the family, the time of year and the exchange rate. We also offer a "pseudo homestay" option where students stay at a family-owned small "hotel" with a host family that lives in-house. Students have their own room with a private bath. No meals are provided only rooms and plenty of conversation. However, there are plenty of restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the pseudo homestay. During most of the year the price is approximately $10 U.S. a night for a cabana & $13 for a room.
