Accommodation

San Sebastian is a small fun city. All our accommodation choices are located within 15 minutes walk of the school, and a similar distance from the main surfing beach, unless you request different or you give us only a short amount of notice. Then we will do our best for you. We try to place surfers with boards in La Gross or the historical centre - both are only 5 minutes form the beach.

Home Stay
We recommend home stays as a great Spanish learning experience. Living with a family has many fun and interesting. It allows you to get to know the way that people in the country really live from the inside, as well as their customs, their cuisine and the way they enjoy themselves. It also allows you to practice Spanish outside school hours. If you want to be just another member of the family, you will need to try and  adapt to their way of life and respect their social norms. We have a large number of extremely responsible and trustworthy families with various lifestyles to enable you to fit in with the one that best suits your characteristics. 

Shared Apartment
This is the most independent option. You will have your own room  but share the apartment normally with a Spanish person living and working or studying in San Sebastian. They are normally young and friendly. We try to match you with someone of similar age etc . Sometimes we can find apartments where two of the students at our school can share.
The apartments are modest, and you will have to carry out your share of housework (cleaning, washing up, taking down the rubbish…)
The school-spring cleans the communal facilities every two weeks

Private Apartments - The process takes two months
This is a service provided only to our students, during the length of their course with us.  

General Condition for Private Apartments:

1. Prices stated are prices for full months and include general expenses (gas, electricity, community, local taxes) at normal consumption levels.
2. Apartments have to be paid in advance.
3. All apartments include, unless stated otherwise:
   • cooking facilities, dishes, forks, pans and frying pans, etc…
   • blankets, bed linen, …. But not always towels
   • fridge, washing machine and oven

Our apartments do usually not have: telephone, bread toasters, electric coffee machine microwave oven and vacuum cleaner. Understand that they have just the basic furniture

CARDIE:
General description : newly refurbished apartment of about 70 square meters-One bathroom, a nice living room looking on an inside patio, a kitchen and two bedrooms. It has a modern decor and the kitchen has got an oven, microwave, washing machine, and a fridge.
Bedrooms
Bedroom 1: looking on an inside patio, king-size bed, big wardrobe
Bedroom 2:.This room is smaller and has a normal 90 cm bed, a small wardrobe and a study table
Walking distance to the school: 10-15 minutes
Lift: it is a 6th floor with no lift.
Location: located in the area of Gros, a busy and fashionable area, with lots of shops and the new congress building Kursaal. 10 minutes walk to either the city center or the old part of the town.3 minutes walk to the surfer’s beach.
Price  from October to May 1300 € per month, from June to September 2200€ per month

PATCLA
General description: Apartment of about 70 square meters. Small bathroom, living room looking on the street with a small terrace, kitchen and two bedrooms. The kitchen is equipped with: oven, microwave, washing machine, and a fridge.
You also have the possibility of using a phone line
Bedrooms
Bedroom 1: looking on the street, two individual beds, a wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: it has a Big wardrobe, this room is smaller and has a normal 90 cm bed.
Walking distance to the school: 30 minutes. There are buses from the center of town to the apartment that run every 8 minutes
Location: located in the area of Amara, a busy area where lots of shops, and several parks . Cinemas, bars and restaurants. 5 minutes away from the sports main center.20-30 minutes to La Concha Beach
Price  from October to May 1300 € per month, from June to September 2200€ per month
