Established in 1999, our Spanish language School in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico is the first and the best of the Spanish language schools in the area and the only one founded and run by an experienced language professor with a masters degree in teaching second language acquisition.

Puerto Escondido Language Institute is based on the belief that a strong linguistic foundation is created through the development of the four pillars of language: reading, writing, speaking and listening. Instructors integrate grammar into this context and help students to put their new Spanish language skills to use immediately. We have found that using this method makes learning Spanish rapid, easy and fun.

The teachers at our Spanish language school are native Spanish speakers from all over Latin America and Mexico. They are highly trained and experienced in teaching Spanish to speakers of other languages. All have learned English as a second language and know firsthand the difficulties of acquiring another language.

Courses taught in Puerto Escondido provide students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Spanish language and the Latino culture while enjoying the stimulating environment and fun activities that Puerto Escondido has to offer
