 Accommodation Options Ixtapa - Zihuatanejo

At Ixtapa - Zihuatanejo we have three options available for you: Home stay, Villas Paraiso Hotel, and Hostel.

Home Stay

To make the most of your stay in Mexico, we recommend that you stay with a local family in a Mexican Home stay. The families are all friendly, and like the share with you their Mexican culture, and learn more about yours. You will have your own room, and space . The friendliness of the people will draw you closer to them. There are three meals a day, and this is the perfect time to practise your Spanish! All homes are easily accessible to both the school, and also the magnificent beaches that are litter  Ixtapa - Zihuatanejo. You can request a family with or without children. A home stay is the best opportunity to meet locals, and become immersed in the local culture.

Villas Paraiso

We recommend Villas Paraiso for couples and families that would like a little more freedom and space. Villas Paraíso Hotel is a full service, comfortable hotel specialized in catering to couples and families.  All suites feature living areas, kitchenettes and  private bedrooms.  It is a 3-star hotel located one block  from the  famous El Palmar beach. Prices for Villas Paraiso are based on a share twin basis.

Hostel

For short term students who do not wish to home stay - there are a number of youth hostel avaible. We recommend Angela's Hotel & Hostel which is located right downtown in the heart of old Zihuatanejo, about 200 metres from the main beachfront. The area features shops, restaurant-bars and live music/dance venues. The central market is just a five-minute walk away and we are very close to major bus routes (including a bus that will take you to school - only 50 cents).

'Angela's Hostel' features five private rooms and three dormitories. There are two large communal kitchens available, plus one kitchenette. The hostel has a unique, stylish decor and a friendly, international-hostel ambiance. t is recommended by both Lonely Planet and Let's Go travel guides.

Please note: This is only avaible for short term students  and an age restriction for dorm rooms: maximum 40 years.
